👋 Hi, I’m Ingrid - a filmmaker, educator and multi-media artist based out of Philadelphia.
Ingrid Raphaël is a multi-disciplinary artist, filmmaker, curator and educator whose creations are shaped by their experiences with migration and the concept of temporality.
As co-founder of the nomadic microcinema, NO EVIL EYE CINEMA (NEEC), Raphaël has spearheaded accessible educationship workshops and eclectic film curation internationally, both in-person and online. They are also a co-designer of FILM FUTURA, NEEC’s decolonial satellite film school that attracted a global community of over 400 students.
They are currently developing and producing their upcoming narrative, SILK, which has received support from the Independence Public Media Foundation, Center for Afrofuturist Studies Fellowship, and the Netflix-funded Trans Film Center Career Development Lab.
They recently launched their studio NSISIM — a slow study of temporality, memory and ecology. And are currently working as the Programs Manager of Termite TV Collective.
